1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Think and Tinker Laboratory ("LisensyaLab", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of the LisensyaLab mobile application and website. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
2. Service Description
LisensyaLab is a subscription-based mobile application providing AI-powered board exam review materials for the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE) and the Criminal Lawyer Examination (CLE) in the Philippines. Features include a curated question bank, progress tracking, AI-driven personalized recommendations, and school leaderboards.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
LisensyaLab is available via the following subscription plans:
- Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective payment terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- To cancel, manage your subscription through your App Store or Google Play account settings — not through LisensyaLab directly.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their refund policies. LisensyaLab does not issue refunds directly.
- Prices are in Philippine Pesos (PHP) and may be subject to change with advance notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or redistribute LisensyaLab content or your account credentials.
- Attempt to copy, extract, scrape, or reproduce our question bank content.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Impersonate another user or provide false registration information.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within LisensyaLab — including but not limited to questions, explanations, graphics, AI algorithms, and the LisensyaLab brand — is the exclusive property of Think and Tinker Laboratory and is protected under Philippine and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal educational purposes only.
7. Educational Disclaimer
LisensyaLab is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) of the Philippines. Content is professionally curated to follow PRC Table of Specifications but passing the board exam cannot be guaranteed.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, LisensyaLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the app, including failure to pass a licensure examination. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the platform, without refund. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting [email protected].
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Manila, Philippines.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
